Socios.com, the creator of fan tokens, believes passion should be recognized and that every fan’s voice should be heard. With the rise and popularity of cryptocurrency and NFTs in 2020, the fan token industry was ignited by the first minted fan token on the Chiliz block chain: Juventus. Today, Socios.com has over 145 fan token partners across soccer, MMA, Motorsport and gaming. The app is available to fans all over the world to hunt for tokens, play trivia, participate in polls, and redeem rewards and VIP experiences with their favorite teams. As a senior designer, I was tasked to develop the creative voice and penetrate the U.S market.
Brand & Content Strategy
The first step was to categorize our brand content into three pillars, to offer direction to our marketing and creative efforts. Working with hundreds of teams, it was a huge stepping stone in organizing the types of content we wanted to feature and spread brand awareness. I also developed a regional brand guide specifically for the U.S. team to keep us tight-nit and focused.
Penetrating the U.S. Market
Headquartering in Malta, a marketing team catering to the United States market was integral to setting the company apart from the rest of the industry, our global brand, and to build the tools to consistently communicate with our fans, partners, the public and ourselves.

RFK was generous enough to allow Socios.com fan token holders to have a chance to design a car, pick out the driver’s firesuit, and, have their name featured on the car itself; just by participating in our RFK polls on the app. After thousands of participants, 500 lucky winners were chosen to have their names displayed on the car.
