The world-famous San Diego Zoo Global rebranded with the help of the largest independent design consultancy, Pentagram. The goal was to reposition the popular tourist destination(s) to be conservation-forward under one parent organization: The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. I was hired to support the brand launch– leading design and production on the countless rebrand needs.

Limited Edition Ticket & Admission Ticket Design
The Zoo and Safari Park needed a set of admission tickets that laddered up to the new brand. The facility colors, logo, alliance seal, and CTA were paired with a hero animal photo that represented the facilities’ conservation efforts. A limited edition ticket run was printed for the first day of the rebrand launch. It needed to feel special and exclusive. A gold-foil alliance seal and type-driven design was used to introduce the brand to the very first guests after the launch.
To accompany the tickets, we created San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance retail and limited-edition postcards for purchase at merchandise locations throughout each facility.
